[15/_0/_5] Above KSE-U magnet (tripped) Failure Immediately replace brakes

2. Dynamic Single Brake Test (Upward, No Load)

Test Conditions:

  • Load: 0% rated capacity

  • Speed: 100% rated (VKN)

  • Direction: Up

Phase 1: Activate Test Mode

  3. Immediately remove TEST-MGB plug

Phase 5: Verify Results

HMI Display Car Position Outcome
[65/_1/__] Below KSE-U magnet (untripped) Success
[65/_0/_5] Above KSE-U magnet (tripped) Failure

Failure Action:Replace affected brake within 4 weeks

Phase 6: Exit Test Mode

  1. PressESC→ Display:[__/__/65]

Key Safety Protocols

  1. Pre-Test Verification:

    • Confirm brake linings are debris-free

    • Verify power supply stability (≥380V ±10%)

  2. During Testing:

    • Maintain 3m clearance around elevator

    • Use two-way radios for LDU-machine room communication

  3. Post-Test Documentation:

    • Record stopping distances (max 250mm for 1.75m/s systems)

    • Archive HMI screenshots of test results

Note: Always follow site-specific lockout/tagout procedures. Test frequencies must comply with local regulations (minimum quarterly for full brake tests).
