1. Core Fault Codes & Solutions

PrimAry Fault Codes

Code Description Troubleshooting Steps
0 Serial Communication Error - Check communication cables (e.g., traveling cables) between door control board and main controller.
- Ensure proper grounding and eliminate EMI sources.
1 Inverter Overcurrent - Replace the door control board (PCB).
- Inspect motor bearings and door rails for jamming; clean and lubricate.
2 +12V Undervoltage - Replace the door control board (PCB).
- Test power supply modules and aging capacitors.
3 Main Circuit Undervoltage - Verify stability of main power input.
- Replace faulty rectifier bridge or capacitors.
4 CPU Watchdog Error (WDT) - Restart door control board.
- Replace the board if the error persists.
7 Open/Close Command Logic Error - Inspect DOQ/DCQ signal lines.
- Calibrate control parameters using debugging tools.
9 Closing Operation Error - Check door lock contact alignment and mechanical obstructions.
- Adjust CLT sensor position.
A Overspeed Detection - Adjust door speed parameters (e.g., SP03-4.5 for max opening speed).
- Inspect encoder wiring or replace the encoder.
D Overload - Verify motor load (e.g., door rail debris).
- Measure line resistance for poor contact.
F Overspeed Check - Ensure encoder shielding is grounded.
- Replace the encoder or recalibrate speed curves.

2. Sub-Codes (Extended Faults)

Sub-Code Description Troubleshooting Steps
4.GS Door Lock (GS) Anomaly - Adjust car door dimensions and photoelectric sensor alignment.
- Measure door lock circuit resistance (normal <1Ω).
5. Position Switch Error - Reposition OLT/CLT switches.
- Clean contacts or replace faulty switches.
C. Encoder Error - Reconnect encoder plugs with proper shielding.
- Replace the encoder or control board.
E. DLD Insufficient Margin - Adjust DLD parameters (e.g., SP01-2.3 for sensitivity).
- Inspect mechanical alignment (e.g., door rails).
F. GS Release Indication Error - Verify door lock timing sequence.
- Check for short circuits or breaks in safety loops.

3. Fault Code Retrieval (VFGLC/VFGL Series)

  1. VFGLC Models (KCD-115X/KCD-116X):

    • Set MON1=1, MON0=0 (real-time faults) or MON0=1 (historical faults).

    • Read codes via DH2/DL2 display.

  2. VFGL Models (KCD-100X):

    • Enter debug mode: SET1=E, SET0=1.

    • Toggle MON1=1 and MON0=0/8 to view real-time or latched fault codes.

4. Maintenance & Optimization Guidelines

1. Hardware Maintenance

  • Mechanical Cleaning: Regularly remove debris from door rails and lubricate motor bearings.

  • Wiring Inspection: Prioritize encoder connectors, door lock circuits (41DG), and safety edge wiring.

2. Parameter Calibration

  • Speed Curve Adjustment: Configure SP02-6.7 (max closing speed) and SP03-4.5 (max opening speed).

  • Self-Learning Function: Execute door auto-learning for position feedback calibration (applicable models).

3. Common Crash Causes

  • Encoder Issues: Signal loss or loose connectors (30% of crashes).

  • Power Interference: Test main circuit capacitors and voltage-balancing resistors.

Safety Notes:

  • Always disconnect power before handling high-voltage circuits.

  • Backup parameters before adjustments to prevent system errors.
